Collimation Optics
Collimation optics bundle the strongly divergent light of a laser diode into a parallel, collimated beam. They are the basis of every dot laser, line laser and laser-module design and are also used directly in research, OEM development and repair.
Lasershop offers collimation optics from MediaLas as glass aspheres in standard housings with M9 x 0.5 thread – suitable for most common laser diodes in red, green, blue and infrared. Focal lengths and anti-reflective coatings are optimised for each wavelength; custom sizes are produced in Germany.
