Right of Withdrawal

For distance contracts, in particular contracts concluded via our online shop, you have as a consumer a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following withdrawal instructions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.

Withdrawal Instructions

I. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take or takes possession of the goods – in the case of several goods, the last of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (MediaLas Electronics GmbH, Vogtshalde 9, 72336 Balingen, Germany, e-mail: sales@medialas.com, phone: +49 7433 90799 0) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). If you use this online function, we will send you without undue delay an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail), including information on the content of the withdrawal declaration as well as the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

II. Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier. You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods, or, if the goods, by their nature, cannot normally be returned by post, you bear the direct costs of returning the goods up to a maximum of approximately EUR 90.00. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

III. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

This right of withdrawal does not apply to:

1. contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or determination by you is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to your personal needs;
2. contracts for the supply of goods which, after delivery, due to their nature, have been inseparably mixed with other items;
3. contracts for the supply of audio or video recordings or computer software in sealed packaging, if the seal has been removed after delivery.
