Line laser InLine HP - BLUE 1000mW, incl. mount
InLine HP High-Performance Line Laser 1000 mW Blue – IL-HP-1000-465: High-performance line laser from the InLine HP series in a rugged 18-mm housing (IP67) with internal control electronics, factory-calibrated, and includes an adjustable mount. With 1000 mW (1 W), it is the top-of-the-line model in the InLine HP series, delivering maximum line brightness over long distances. Wide voltage input (12–20 VDC) and optional trigger input for flexible industrial use.
- Blue laser line (465 +2/-5 nm) with 1000 mW—visible even in daylight
- Rugged IP67 housing (approx. 18 × 100 mm), including an adjustable mount
- Wide voltage input 12–20 VDC, optional trigger input (PLC-compatible)
- ACC control and startup ramp for high laser diode reliability
The laser diodes are equipped with ACC control for high stability, as well as a startup ramp that slowly increases the current at power-on and protects the diode from inrush spikes. The cylindrical 18-mm housing is clamped into the included mount, which simultaneously dissipates the low heat generated and extends the service life.
Set consists of
- InLine-HP high-power laser module (approx. 18 × 100 mm, IP67), fully calibrated
- Custom-designed, adjustable aluminum mount (pan/tilt)—the laser must only be operated with the mount
Possible applications
- Laser line in daylight
- Visualization of guide lines
- Visualization of airflows, gases, aerosols, etc.
- Demo visualization of exhibition objects
Electrical Connection
Connection is via a flexible cable; M8 or M12 connectors are available as an option. Power supply: 12–20 VDC; a 230 VAC plug-in power supply is available as an option. Cable lengths of up to 100 m are possible.

Line Length and Line Width
The length of the laser line is determined by the selected beam angle (selectable up to approx. 110°) and the mounting distance:
| Angle | Distance | Line length approx. |
| 20° | 1 m | 0.34 m |
| 35° | 1 m | 0.62 m |
| 60° | 1 m | 1.16 m |
| 90° | 1 m | 2 m |
| 110° | 1 m | 3 m |
The line width can be adjusted or set to a fixed value.
Trigger Input
The InLine line lasers can be equipped with an optional trigger input for modulating or power-free on/off switching of the laser output. The voltage-controlled input turns on the laser at a signal voltage of approximately 4 V. The input voltage may be up to 25 V and can therefore also come from a PLC output. This allows for a convenient control solution without having to disconnect the supply voltage. If the laser is to operate continuously, simply connect the trigger input to the supply voltage.

- For continuous operation, the module must be mounted in the mount.
- It is essential to observe the supply voltage range!

| Connection type: | Flex cable 1m, M12 connector, Power supply with DC connector, Trigger input |
|---|---|
| IP Rating: | IP67/68 |
| Line angle optics: | 20° glass optics, 30° glass optics, 45° glass optics, 60° glass optics, 110° glass optics |
At a distance of 1 m, the following lengths result (12-mm modules):
| Angle | Distance | Line length approx. |
|---|---|---|
| 10° | 1 m | 17 cm |
| 20° | 1 m | 35 cm |
| 30° | 1 m | 54 cm |
| 35° | 1 m | 63 cm |
| 45° | 1 m | 83 cm |
| 60° | 1 m | 116 cm |
| 70° | 1 m | 140 cm |
| 90° | 1 m | 200 cm |
| 110° | 1 m | 300 cm |
The line length increases linearly with distance; at a distance of 2 m, these values double.
Stranded wires (standard) – open red/black wires, approx. 100–200 mm length, for direct connection to microcontrollers or driver boards.
Barrel connector – 5.5 / 2.1 mm standard barrel plug, approx. 200 mm cable, for operation with a 230 VAC plug-in power supply.
Flexible cable with ferrules – approx. 100 cm flexible cable for direct connection to a 12–25 VDC machine controller. Reverse-polarity protection is integrated in the DC variant.
On request we also supply M8 / M12 connectors with custom cable lengths. The DC variant is particularly suited for retrofitting existing machines without 230 V wiring.
Line length: The longer the line, the lower the brightness, as the light output is spread over a larger area
Laser color: Green appears significantly brighter than red or blue
Work surface: The darker and more matte the surface, the darker the light appears
Ambient brightness: The brighter the ambient light, the darker the laser line appears. This is due to the human eye, which reduces its sensitivity depending on the ambient brightness. In direct sunlight, it is very difficult to see a laser line because the retina is already saturated.
Laser power: The higher the laser power, the brighter the laser line
Wavelength in detail: The wavelength determines how visible the line is on your surface. Red (650 nm) is the lowest-cost option and sufficient in moderately lit indoor environments. Light red (635 nm) appears noticeably brighter than 650 nm at the same power. Green (520 / 532 nm) is the most universal choice – the human retina is most sensitive in the green spectral range, so green lines appear roughly 5–7× brighter than red at equal power. Blue (450 nm) delivers high contrast on greenish surfaces, where red and green fade into the background.
