- Red laser line (650 nm) with 30 mW
- Ready-to-use kit including an adjustable mount
- Adjustable focus and line position
Set consists of
- Line laser module, fully calibrated and ready for use
- Matching adjustable mount
Electrical connection
230V version: The 230V version includes a power cable with a hollow connector and a matching plug-in power supply.
12–25V version: The laser modules are equipped with a flexible connection cable. If you select the 24V version, a small adapter is heat-shrunk into the power cable. The ends are open and fitted with wire end ferrules, allowing them to be connected directly to an existing power supply or a busbar. Reverse-polarity protection is built-in. Please note that the housing is grounded. If, for example, multiple modules are installed simultaneously in a system, electrical connections between the individual modules can lead to operational problems. In this case, the modules must be installed in an isolated manner.

line length
Depending on the application, modules with different beam angles can be selected to produce the desired laser line length. The larger the beam angle, the longer the line. The following angles are available for our OEM modules:
| Angle | Distance | Line length approx. |
| 5° | 1 m | 8–9 cm |
| 10° | 1 m | 17 cm |
| 20° | 1 m | 0.34 m |
| 35° | 1 m | 0.62 m |
| 45° | 1 m | 0.85 m |
| 60° | 1 m | 1.16 m |
| 90° | 1 m | 2 m |
| 110° | 1 m | 3 m |
| 120° | 1 m | 3.4 m |
line width
With our 12 mm modules, the line width—also known as the “focus”—can be quickly and easily adjusted to the desired size or distance. The optics are mounted in the front brass ring and can be adjusted very easily and safely using a fine-pitch thread. This allows the line width to be set to the technically feasible optimum for any desired distance. Once the desired line width has been determined, the optics are secured in the threaded section using threadlocker. Upon request, we’ll be happy to set the focus to a specified value for you.
Equipment / Options
As standard, the modules are equipped with a high-quality, aspheric acrylic glass lens that provides excellent beam quality and focusing of the laser beam. Optionally, the module can be fitted with a 3-lens glass collimator. This primarily affects the temperature stability of the focus. The standard acrylic lenses can shift the focus under significant temperature fluctuations, which may result in a change in beam width. As long as the operating temperature at the module’s installation point fluctuates within a range of ±5°C, the acrylic lens is preferable because it offers slightly better focusing at short distances than the glass lens. The glass lens, on the other hand, offers better beam characteristics at long distances (>2 m). However, if significant temperature fluctuations occur, the glass lens should be selected to prevent the focus from shifting.
For a large divergence angle (110°), we offer a glass line lens that produces a Gaussian-like distribution of light. The laser line is brightest at the center and gradually becomes darker toward the ends of the line, whereas standard optics produce a fairly uniform distribution across the entire beam. Of course, this line lens can also be combined with the glass collimator.

Optional
- Glass line optic, finer line, bright in the center, tapering toward the ends
- Glass collimator, greater stability under temperature fluctuations
- Extension cables for the power supply in virtually any length

At a distance of 1 m, the following lengths result (12-mm modules):
| Angle | Distance | Line length approx. |
|---|---|---|
| 10° | 1 m | 17 cm |
| 20° | 1 m | 35 cm |
| 30° | 1 m | 54 cm |
| 35° | 1 m | 63 cm |
| 45° | 1 m | 83 cm |
| 60° | 1 m | 116 cm |
| 70° | 1 m | 140 cm |
| 90° | 1 m | 200 cm |
| 110° | 1 m | 300 cm |
The line length increases linearly with distance; at a distance of 2 m, these values double.
Stranded wires (standard) – open red/black wires, approx. 100–200 mm length, for direct connection to microcontrollers or driver boards.
Barrel connector – 5.5 / 2.1 mm standard barrel plug, approx. 200 mm cable, for operation with a 230 VAC plug-in power supply.
Flexible cable with ferrules – approx. 100 cm flexible cable for direct connection to a 12–25 VDC machine controller. Reverse-polarity protection is integrated in the DC variant.
On request we also supply M8 / M12 connectors with custom cable lengths. The DC variant is particularly suited for retrofitting existing machines without 230 V wiring.
Line length: The longer the line, the lower the brightness, as the light output is spread over a larger area
Laser color: Green appears significantly brighter than red or blue
Work surface: The darker and more matte the surface, the darker the light appears
Ambient brightness: The brighter the ambient light, the darker the laser line appears. This is due to the human eye, which reduces its sensitivity depending on the ambient brightness. In direct sunlight, it is very difficult to see a laser line because the retina is already saturated.
Laser power: The higher the laser power, the brighter the laser line
Wavelength in detail: The wavelength determines how visible the line is on your surface. Red (650 nm) is the lowest-cost option and sufficient in moderately lit indoor environments. Light red (635 nm) appears noticeably brighter than 650 nm at the same power. Green (520 / 532 nm) is the most universal choice – the human retina is most sensitive in the green spectral range, so green lines appear roughly 5–7× brighter than red at equal power. Blue (450 nm) delivers high contrast on greenish surfaces, where red and green fade into the background.
